– capable of coordinating your chapter’s efforts?*
*This could be an
annual position – however, this individual is responsible for liaising with WDAF professionals, classroom coordinators, school administrators and
USA Dance volunteers. Developing these relationships (and maintaining
continuity of communication and service) is very important - therefore, we
recommend the position be held for a minimum of 2 years - with the incoming
coordinator’s term overlapping.
This might require a commitment
of some dance and logistical training with WDAF professionals (prior to the
classroom experiences) as well as conformity to all public school policies –
including background security checks and volunteer approval process by local
school board.
