USA Dance White Sands’ Mission
USA Dance, White Sands Chapter 6012 stands in the community as a dynamic organization to empower its members to reach their highest possibility through the love of Ballroom Dancing. We serve our members through a wide variety of experiences and opportunities that encourage their growth as dancers, motivate them to display their talents to others, and inspire them to pass on their love of dancesport through outreach and service.
USA Dance mission:
To promote the quality and the quantity of ballroom dancing in the United States.
USA Dance serves as the National Governing Body for DanceSport, the competitive version of ballroom dancing; Organizes and supports programs for the recreational enjoyment of ballroom dancing by all ages and creates affordable opportunities for the general public to participate in ballroom dancing and DanceSport; Promotes and supports ballroom dance programs in colleges and secondary schools; Applies special programs to attract beginners to ballroom dancing and to both encourage and assist these dancers in meeting their goals and Emphasizes to the public the healthful aspects of ballroom dancing; its physical, mental and social benefits.
